What information RepTrack Pro handles
RepTrack Pro handles information you enter directly and information generated while you use the app. In the current build, that can include profile details, workout history, templates, schedules, body and progress metrics, transformation photos, notification preferences, and feature settings.
Most of this information is stored locally on your device so the app can function without requiring a RepTrack Pro account. Certain optional features can also move or transmit information through Apple services or external AI providers, as described below.
Examples of local app data
- User profile details such as name, units, body metrics, goals, and preferences
- Workout history, exercise entries, set data, templates, schedules, streaks, and progress summaries
- Transformation photos, health entries, and app settings like notification or provider preferences
What is not active in the current build
- No current ad SDK or cross-app tracking flow is enabled
- No always-on RepTrack Pro account login is required for normal app use
- Firebase and Crashlytics code exists in the project but is currently disabled in the shipped app setup
HealthKit, notifications, widgets, and iCloud
RepTrack Pro uses Apple platform services to provide optional health, backup, and device-integration features. These features depend on permissions, Apple account state, device compatibility, and iOS behavior.
- HealthKit: If you grant permission, RepTrack Pro can read and write health and workout data so it can power recovery, readiness, calorie, and workout-related features. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings.
- Notifications: If you allow notifications, the app can send workout reminders, rest timer alerts, streak reminders, and related local notifications.
- Widgets and Live Activities: The app can share limited app state with widgets and Live Activities through Apple's system frameworks and app group storage so those surfaces can display current workout-related information.
- iCloud / CloudKit backup: If you use iCloud backup features, backups are stored in your private iCloud/CloudKit account and may include profile data, workouts, templates, health entries, transformation photos, and schedules.
When information may leave the device
RepTrack Pro's current implementation can involve third parties in limited, feature-specific ways. These paths are not always active; they depend on the feature being used.
- Apple: HealthKit, CloudKit/iCloud, and notification infrastructure are used for the Apple-platform features described above.
- OpenAI or Groq (feature-dependent): If AI-backed plan generation is configured in your build and used in the Programs flow, plan inputs such as goals, preferences, and planning context may be sent to the selected provider to generate content.
- Email support: If you contact support from the in-app mail flow, the message can include app version, build number, device model, and iOS version so support can troubleshoot the issue.
External AI providers operate under their own privacy terms. If your build is using fallback or local generation instead, this third-party transmission may not occur for that plan-generation request.
How the app uses the information it handles
- To run the core app features, including workout logging, history, analytics, templates, schedules, and profile-driven personalization
- To display progress views, body metrics, streaks, readiness or recovery summaries, and exercise or plan recommendations
- To generate workout and nutrition plans, whether through local fallback logic or optional external AI providers
- To create PDF exports, present widgets and Live Activities, and manage iCloud backup and restore features
- To respond to support requests and diagnose reported issues when you contact us
RepTrack Pro does not sell your personal information. The current build is not configured for behavioral advertising or cross-app tracking.
What you can control inside the current app
- Health permissions: Enable or revoke HealthKit access in iOS Settings.
- Notification permissions: Enable, disable, or adjust notifications in iOS Settings and the app's notification settings.
- Export: Use Profile > Settings > Data Management > Export Workout Data to create a PDF report of your workout information.
- iCloud backup: Use Profile > Settings > iCloud Backup to create backups, view available backups, and restore from them.
- Local deletion: The app includes a clear-all-data action for local app data; use it carefully because destructive actions may not be reversible.
Because the current app is largely local-first, there is not a separate remote RepTrack Pro account portal for deleting a cloud profile. Data controls primarily happen on the device and through your Apple account settings where Apple services are involved.
How long information may remain available
- Local device data: Remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app's data, remove the app, or overwrite it through restore flows.
- iCloud backup data: Remains in your private iCloud context until you remove backups, overwrite them, or Apple no longer stores them under your account settings.
- Support emails: Remain in the relevant mail systems as part of normal email handling.
- External AI requests: If you use an external AI provider, retention is subject to that provider's own policies and infrastructure.
